National Indigenous Art Fair

The folks from Blak Markets will host this two-day festival of art, dance, traditiona­l cooking and music during the weekend before NAIDOC Week. Explore work by remote Indigenous artists and art centres alongside 30 other stalls that regularly appear at the Blak Markets. Overseas Passenger Terminal, Sydney 2000. www.naidoc.org. au. Mum: Black Saint of Redfern

Shirley Smith, better known as Mum Shirl, was a Wiradjuri woman brought up by her grandparen­ts in Cowra. She learned 16 Aboriginal languages and became a hugely influentia­l social worker, humanitari­an and community leader in Sydney. This exhibition honours her life and achievemen­ts. NAIDOC in the City
