Report 5 VW e-Golf

We need to talk about the e-Golf’s ride. Because it is exquisite. Tall tyres, suspension that’s not trying to do anything other than smother and soak. Just glorious. The e-Golf progresses silently and softly down any road. It’s a facet of the car’s performance you only notice when you think about it, one of those quiet satisfactions that’s entirely in keeping with the way this electric car goes about its business. Suspension noise is beautifully insulated, too. There’s a maxim among vehicle dynamics engineers that what’s good for ride is also good for handling. It’s one that seems to be ignored all too often, but there’s a real harmony to the e-Golf’s handling as well as its ride. I really love this car.
