TOYOTA SUPRA

-

The manual Supra is on its way, and even though it might be a little bit niche, we are supremely glad it exists. The GR Supra manual is identifiable thanks to a red Supra badge, so you can wear your enthusiast heart on your sleeve (or bootlid), and if it’s mated to the lighter (100kg less than the 3.0-litre six), brighter 2.0-litre four-pot, might well be the choice of someone who’s interested in driving, rather than just going fast. But at the other end of the scale, the rumour is that there might well be a GRMN super Supra on the way; this time with the same S58 motor as the BMW M3/ M4 and with 533bhp. Still rear-wheel drive, there’s a rumour that it will ape the BMW model hierarchy and have an AWD option, but whether it will get a manual is still up for debate. Still, promising stuff.
