Just had an inspired brainwave and intend to speak to Benny and Björn about it… Mamma Mia 3! I’d pack it with Abba showstoppers not already used in the first two movies: so plenty of unforgettable B-sides, album fillers we skip and formulaic toe-tappers that sound a bit like the big hits but were never quite as good. All shoehorned into a hotel re-re-opening party with a bit of how’s and who’s your father, along with the amazing Cher playing a great-grandmother and her 17-yearold self in a flashback sequence… Voulez-vous wanna see that?!? Next thing you know they’ll be reverse-adapting the movie into a musical (which’ll then become a movie, an app, an escape room…).
