BISBEE ’17
OUT 9 NOVEMBER
Robert Greene, director of 2016’s Kate Plays Christine, plays with the form again in an exploration of a mass deportation of immigrant miners in 1917 Arizona. Enlisting the inhabitants of modern-day Bisbee to re-enact this shameful episode, Greene offers them a way to atone for an inherited guilt while giving us a troubling but redemptive examination of industrial relations and collective culpability.
