TOUCH ME NOT
OUT 19 OCTOBER
A dream-like wandering into the intimate (and semi-fictionalised) lives of actor Laura Benson and director Adina Pintilie, this docu-fiction interrogates how we achieve closeness through touch. It claimed the Golden Bear at Berlin, but Pintilie’s film only pleases when the camera diverts from the navel-gazing of its main two protagonists, showing sparse moments of uncomfortable brilliance.
