Am I allowed to go for a TV series? I’ve been rewatching Space: 1999. It’s fascinating because it was a reaction to 2001. It looks brilliant. The special effects team made Alien, which deals with the same subjects, like what it means to be human in an infinite universe. It’s about the deepest questions that are raised when you think about cosmology and astrology, and I think it’s massively underrated. It’s a brilliant piece of work but nobody’s ever heard of it.
