NATIVITY ROCKS!

It’s fair to say that any film combining the refugee crisis with Craig Revel Horwood in a Samson wig has a few tonal issues. On the other hand, this family-com fourquel fully commits to laying it on thick: if it’s not tugging on heartstrings like a kid bothering a fake-bearded Santa, it’s revelling in the antics of lead Simon Lipkin, whose puppy-dog zeal makes his own pet pooch seem subdued.
