★★★) – one of his biggest – he came slightly unstuck with Rambo III (1988, ★★), which clunkily attempts to soften Stallone’s character (while still setting a Guinness record with 108 on-screen deaths). Sly’s nicer side gets a better airing in the career-reviving Cliffhanger (1993, ★★★★). Crisp 4K restorations, bundles of (mostly old) extras.
