making this month’s mag
Stricken with a fear of contracting a chronic GAS affliction, TG’s Bird man decided to stay well away from this year’ s NA MM show, preferring instead to sit on his per chin the UK and ho ne his Eddie Van Hal en chops. You can do the same. Just turn top 66 for our not-so-evil tab of Runnin’ With The Devil.
It was all sun, sea and single coils for Mike this month as he accompanied S tu and Rob on an epic NA MM quest to see and hear all the new gear that’s due to land this year. His highlight? Probably Mark T re mon ti’ s game-changing PR S MT 15 head, which brings boutique-high-gain-tones down to a sub-£500 price point. Woo hoo!
Rob was writing this issue’s new gear feature(p44) on the plane back from the NA MM show, and he staggered into the office in time for deadline with eyes wide from jet lag, caffeine and the myriad shape sand colour she’ d seen at the show. He’ s now curled up in a ball under his desk. Shaking.
