Two years ago and on the cusp of arena status the very existence of this band was in serious doubt with the loss of guitarist Tom Searle. That they rallied, utlising Tom’s own demo ideas and a new writing partnership between his brother Dan (drums) and guitarist Josh Middleton, is a huge achievement. But in creating the strongest metal album of the year they’ve secured a bright future and paid their co-founder the ultimate tribute.
