Like the KTR, which had a selector switch to put the circuit into true-bypass mode, the Sugar Drive lets you choose whether to leave the buffer in circuit when the pedal is off. Other than that, it’s a fantastic, opensounding overdrive that perfectly sways into the characteristic metallic clip of the Klon at higher gain settings.
