As well as the integrated Youtube functionality, the Pocket GT’S Bluetooth connection basically routes any audio from your phone into your headphones so you can hear it alongside your guitar while you play. This means that your native music library, Spotify, Amazon or any other service can be played over the connection. The Pocket GT’S transport buttons can also serve as play/pause [etc.] controls in these settings, as well as Youtube. Boss has included a centre-cancel function that knocks out anything panned to the middle of the recording you’re playing, and while this means you’ll likely lose some other elements of instrumentation, it also means that you’ll make a space where the solos and possibly some rhythm tracks used to live, turning your songs into partially guitar-less backing tracks.
