RACHAEL Finch’s obsession with active wear goes far deeper than just wanting maximum comfort.

The model mum (left) says some of her most precious memories were formed while wearing Lycra. Finch, who this week launched the fifth collection for her B. O. D by Finch line, says she entered the industry in a bid to put her personal touch on the type of clothing that has seen her through some of life’s greatest moments.

“For me, this business has been a real combination of a couple of things,” she said.

“Activewear has seen me through all facets of my life, in particular, the momentous times.

“I gave birth to both my children in activewear, I met my husband in activewear, I travelled around the world in activewear and every day I get up and open that second draw which is full of activewear. “There’s no denying activewear is my life.” A burning desire to be more than just a pretty face is what has driven the Myer model to add the titles of designer and business owner to her ever-growing resume.

“Health and wellness and being able to give back to others and inspire them to live a healthier life has been a big priority of mine,” Finch says.

“My perception and goals in life are ever changing.

“Creating this brand is about me looking forward and creating products that leave a positive impact on the world and give back in some way, shape or form.”

As for what makes the perfect workout wear, the mother-of-two says it’s all about quality fabrics and being a good fit.

“The quality, fit and support and how it sits on your body and makes you feel is so important,” she says.

“That is really going to help your performance and the way you train.

“The ultimate activewear combination is something that makes you feel good mixed with good quality.”
