Crocs tickets go on sale
BASKETBALL fans were quick to snap up Crocodiles season tickets yesterday as the club started its membership drive for the 2015- 16 season.
The club have battled back from the brink of extinction and are now calling on the local community to sign up for the upcoming season to ensure the team’s long- term future.
Staff at the club’s office in Currajong were kept busy yes- terday morning as supporters came in to book their place for the team’s return to their home at the Townsville Entertainment and Convention Centre.
Club veteran Greg Vanderjagt is expected to re- sign with the Crocs in the coming weeks and the experienced big man said there was a great feeling at the club ahead of the season.
“Everyone has been so keen to pick up their tickets for the club’s return to the Swamp and it’s a great way for us to kick off our membership sales for the 2015- 16 season,” he said.
“Going back to our home is huge, that’s where the history of the Crocodiles is and being back at the Entertainment Centre is huge for us and huge for the sustainability of this club moving forward.”
