LOCAL MODEL NAOMI SIZZLES

-

NEVER has showing no skin looked so sexy.

The daggy rashie is now sizzling hot, thanks to some serious Townsville talent behind MARA Swim, who’ve transformed the unfashionable full- Lycra look into a body- hugging work of beautiful art.

Former model and Idalia resident Naomi Collings launched the luxury sun protection swimwear label this week alongside her Brisbane- based hairstylist sister Kirsty Parnell.

The photography talents of Townsville’s stylish snapper Matthew Gianoulis brought the sexy swimmers to life, with the help of two beautiful local models who rocked out the rashies on the rooftop pool of High Point Apartments in Townsville’s CBD.

The sleek swimwear range was born out of a life changing moment for the sisters — after Kirsty spotted a deadly melanoma on Naomi’s arm back in 2014 and saved her life ( see our story on page 19).

The pair then went looking for something that still had sex appeal to cover up with and they fell short finding a gap in the sun protection market — so they created MARA Swim.

“It’s a stylish and safe luxury swimwear that we feel empowers women to make the choice to cover up and get smart about sun protection,” Naomi said.

“Our first retail range offers both one and two- piece designs in bold prints and rich 50- plus UVP fabrics — all Australian made.”

The high- end collection called Au is now available exclusively at maraswim. com. au with the one- piece for $ 199 and the two- piece top for $ 149 with bottoms for $ 49.
