1.45PM — 3PM: Hugh St from Castle Hill PCYC to Woolcock St at Kings Rd intersection

2PM — 3.30PM: Woolcock St at Kings Rd intersection to Woolcock St at Charters Towers Rd intersection

2.15PM — 4PM: Woolcock St at Charters Towers Rd intersection to Stanley St at Lowths Bridge

2.20PM — 4PM: From Stanley St at Lowths Bridge to Flinders St via Saunders St, including Mcilwraith St, Plume St and Palmer St, Flinders St to Wickham St and the Strand to Sir Leslie Thiess Dr 4PM — 5PM: The Strand from Wickham St to Gregory St

4PM — 6.30PM: Gregory St to Paxton St, Paxton St to Burke St, Burke St to Mitchell St, Mitchell St to Kennedy St, Kennedy St to the Strand, the Strand at Kennedy St to Jezzine Barracks All are invited to the Townsville Community Celebration to enjoy the Baton’s visit to Townsville. Johnathan Thurston will carry the baton into the community celebration, which kicks off at 5.30pm.

MONDAY

7.20AM — 9AM: Boundary St at Reid Park to Ross River Rd at Gulliver St

8AM — 10AM: Ross River Rd at Gulliver St to Ross River Rd at Elizabeth St, Elizabeth St to Wooton St, Wooton St to Nathan St, Nathan St to Ross River Rd, Ross River Rd to Hatchett St, Hatchett St to Albert St, Albert St to end

8.30AM — 10AM: Ross River Rd Hatchett St to Ross River Rd at Bamford Ln ( no relay viewing)

Queensland Police will close zone intersections 20- 40 minutes in advance of the Baton Relay and will also require a period of time after the relay has passed to fully open again. Surrounding roads and intersections may also be closed or have limited access.
