- ANDREW BACKHOUSE SAM BIDEY

VIDEO footage has emerged of two motorists duelling at high speed in a terrifying road rage incident.

One of the motorists, a woman, pulled out a baseball bat during the confrontation on March 27.

Video of the incident on Riverway Drive was captured on rear and front dash cam footage from a motorist who was not involved.

The footage shows a ute travelling at high speed followed by a white sedan.

The ute appears to swerve, and at one point brakechecked the sedan, which was tailgating closely.

The two cars then speed down the road before stopping.

Footage then shows the two motorists in a violent confrontation, with the woman producing a baseball bat.

The incident was reported to police.

“Both vehicles pulled over at the side of Riverway Drive near Gollogly Lane,” the spokesman said. “The female got out of the white car armed with a baseball bat before hitting the victim several times in the left arm with the bat and smashing the rear left window of the victim’s vehicle.

“The offender is described as caucasian ... Police spoke with the victim and no assault complaint was made.

“The incident is being investigated as a wilful damage ( crime). Anyone with information should contact Crime Stoppers 1800 333 000 or PoliceLink on 131 444.”
