Superboats to hit Bowen

THE Bowen Offshore Superboats Festival is on this weekend.

There will be plenty on for families, with rides and slides on the foreshore on both days.

Racing for pole position starts at noon tomorrow.

The street festival is from 5.30- 9pm.

On Sunday race one begins at 10.30am and race two is from 12.20pm.

With markets, rides, food, helicopter joy rides and plenty more, organisers are expecting big crowds.
