Kind deeds ease pain inflicted by carjacker

-

FOLLOWING the recent violent carjacking of my daughter and her two children and a friend by a serial offender, their lives were shattered.

This mongrel has caused so much psychological trauma to them all, financial loss, physical injury and has forever tainted the pride and joy of moving into their own house just days before.

Fiona has been very fortunate to have so many caring friends which has helped enormously just knowing that she is not alone. Thank you so very much.

On Sunday I took Fiona’s car down to Cranbrook Car Wash to vacuum and try and clean it as it had a lot of forensic dusting residue inside the car.

On arriving I met Bron, who was working there, and she kindly asked me what I wanted to do.

I explained the situation to her and she went to her manager Don Hamilton and they both returned and insisted they would vacuum and clean the car for me, which they did.

They comforted me and offered me coffee and returned the car in sparkling condition.

I would like the public to know how wonderful, generous and kind these two extraordinary people were and how much it helped myself and my daughter to deal with a very traumatic issue.

Knowing there are such good people around who without a thought just get in and help. Bless you both.

FAY WHYTE, Annandale.
