PM’s stance on terrorists a threat to us all
MONTHS ago, the Federal Government said it intended to declare ISIS terrorists as persona non grata and cancel any Australian citizenship they held so they could not return here as Australian citizens to spread their murderous ideology.
What happened? If nothing, why hasn’t it happened?
Now we have our PM declaring he wants Neil Prakash, one of the most wanted ISIS terrorists presently in custody overseas to be extradited to Australia because he is an Australian citizen. Talk about a ratbag statement!
What happened to the cancellation of citizenship as promised? How many more lies are we, the public of this country, to be subjected to?
Since we so dutifully follow the US, why can’t we impeach our Prime Minister? Just look at his recent comments about extradition to Australia of this wanton and proven terrorist.
How can we call his advisers to account as being demonstrably in opposition to the Government’s previously declared undertaking?
It’s obvious these people are not acting in good faith to the rest of the country.
Rather they appeal to a minority who ignore the rest of the people of this country.
What a mob of idiots we are to accept anything on face value in the media these days.
Let’s start by accepting or rejecting the actual published and proven doings and achievements of government rather than rhetoric which has to date proven to be in the main, given the above example, blatant misleading rubbish.
This country is not being run as a democracy addressing the very real issues facing the future of this country.
Rather it is a shambles of pretence and dictatorially illadvised personality oneupsman- ship.
What a country we could have had. KEITH BAGLEY, Ingham.
