Crash-dump anger for teen

- TESS IKONOMOU

A TOWNSVILLE teenager who went viral on social media for all the wrong reasons has further infuriated residents of the street in Currajong where he crashed and dumped a car.

The car driven by Caleb Camp, 18, collided with another vehicle in Cambridge St, Currajong, on Friday.

The unregistered red Holden, owned by his girlfriend, was badly damaged. Camp and friends pushed it into the front yard of a nearby apartment complex. The car was not removed during the weekend and frustrated neighbours said yesterday they planned to get the car towed away today.

Camp went viral on social media following his interview for a TV news report on the crash. The L-plater is facing police charges over the incident.

Camp, who fled the scene of the accident, was chased and caught by bystanders before police arrived.
