Fakers send ‘KAP’ texts

KATTER’S Australian Party officials say unsolicited texts sent to Queensland posing as official messages from leader Bob Katter were not authorised.

A spokeswoman for the KAP said any messages sent to people posing as official party communication were fake.

“A number of Queenslanders have … reported to the Party that they have received text messages purporting to be from Bob Katter and Katter’s Australian Party,” she said. “The party can confirm that these messages are not authorised and have been sent by an unknown source.”
