Packed program at showground­s Doggies have winning ways

GREYHOUND racing returns to the Townsville Showground­s tonight, with an 11race program.

Race 7 is the Barry Bulk Haulage FFA over 498m.

Dalmatynsk­i (1) for Joan Newnham returns to his home track after winning the Country Cup Final over 520m at Albion Park, he has drawn well on the rails and will be hard to catch on the bunny.

Westmead Warrior (6) for Andrew Wooler has won his last two starts over this distance, place chance.

Old Mate Kick (4) for Joan Newnham should run a bold race, he has been in consistent form, a danger to Dalmatynsk­i, each way claims.

White Fernando (6) for Robert Lound is a former Victorian dog with good form, he is having his first start over the distance and track, watch the market.

Panther Cloud (5) for Michael Hickmott has won over the distance, place chance.

Race 8 is the A & A Industrial Cladding Best 8 over 380m.

Rapid State (8) for Tarquin Neal has had five starts over the distance and has won her last four, she has a strong finish and will be hard to run down on the bunny, each way claims.

Innocent Man (4) for Glen Olsen has won his last three starts and should start favourite, each way claims.

Slow Dancer (1) for Glen Olsen has drawn well on the rails, she can begin on her night, danger to the favourite.

Not A Word (6) for John Forster has been in great form and will be a danger to the favourite, place chance.
