NEW STUDENTS GET BEARINGS
FUN, food and new friendships are just some of the things James Cook University students can expect as Orientation Week continues at the Townsville campus.
Rebecca Robertson, 17, has been participating in Orientation Week activities this week and will officially begin her business degree next week.
“I’m very excited ... I’d love to get into accounting,” Ms Robertson said.
“O Week has been amazing, there are heaps of amazing people ... really nice, friendly and welcoming.”
Ms Robertson spent yesterday getting to know her mentors and lecturers, as well as fellow classmates.
“I’m excited to make some new friends and get comfortable with university life before we start next week,” she said.
