Donation of house goods

TOWNSVILLE’S Domain Central and its traders donated $100,000 in new household goods to GIVIT’S flood appeal.

GIVIT founder and director Juliette Wright welcomed the generous donation.

“It’s the most perfect donation GIVIT could hope for — much-needed goods being sourced from local business,” she said.

Mrs Wright said the Domain Central donation would support locals at this crucial time.

GIVIT is working with recovery agencies to identify what is required by residents.
