Trump fumes at ‘crime’

FORMER FBI deputy director r Andrew Mccabe has copped a spray from Donald Trump p over his suggestion that a “crime may have been committed” when the US President tried to undermine an investigation into his campaign’s ties s with Russia.

In a Sunday interview with h CBS’S 60 Minutes, Mr Mccabe e described deputy AttorneyyGeneral Rod Rosenstein as having raised the prospect of invoking the 25th Amendment to dump Mr Trump ( pictured) from the White House.

In response, Mr Trump said the duo “look like they were planning a very illegal act, and got caught”. He tweeted on Monday: “This was the illegal and treasonous ‘insurance poll icy’ in full action!”

Mr Rosenstein issued a denial of Mr Mccabe’s account last year.

He said any suggestion he had ever advocated for the removal of the President “is absolutely false”.
