Remote areas’ drink problem

QUEENSLANDERS living in remote areas are more likely than those in major cities to consume alcohol at quantities putting them in risk of harm.

A report released today by the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare shows people living in regional or remote areas were significantly more likely to drink alcohol daily.
