IRA bomb warning

A PARCEL bomb sent to an army recruitment officer by a group calling itself the IRA has not been found yet.

Scotland Yard issued an alert yesterday after a group claiming to be Irish terrorists said only four of the five packages it had sent had been found.

In a statement using a recognised code word, the organisation claimed responsibility for sending the bombs to locations in England and Scotland.

Last week four bombs were discovered after a package sent to Heathrow burst into flames on opening.

No one was hurt.
