Garden stake impales man
A MAN who was impaled on a garden stake after he fell off a roof in the NSW Hunter region has been flown to hospital with the stake still lodged in his body.
The stake pierced the 56year-old man’s underarm and went through his chest when he fell from the roof of a Lochinvar property yesterday morning, emergency services said.
The man was flown to John Hunter Hospital in a stable condition with the stake still in his body. The man remained in a stable condition following treatment late yesterday.
