Townsville Bulletin

TB it’s been a while. Honestly I’d lost interest in your stories but Tuesday it was great to read some local inspiring news of the kids’ athletics carnival, and kids getting back to the netball courts. I hope the local paper sales pick up and you continue

Public servants on huge salaries don’t know what it is like to be a struggling business owner under COVID. You woke idiots in Labor! Get the economy moving, get this state working (unlike you lot sitting there on a guaranteed inflated income that I am paying for). A TAXPAYER, OONOONBA

Just who is the playmaker for the Cowboys that directs the team on the fourth or fifth tackle and puts the team in a point scoring position? It seems there are 13 players on the field and no one knows what the plan for each set of six tackles will be. BLU, KIRWAN

So lucky Townsville gets to accommodate young Brisbane criminals and also lose detention guards in the wake of a COVID-19 outbreak in the southeastern corner. As they couldn’t control it down there, will they control it here? Prepare for a lockdown! AGS, HERMIT PK

Dear Townsville Bulletin, I just cannot believe we have a bloke on the world stage by the name of Jack Miller doing a great job and cannot even get a mention in your paper but we see numerous pages on the silly Cowboys or Broncos who cannot even win a game. Very disappointing. MENNIS, OONOONBA

Glenn 4810 – you never wanted to debate “energy supplies”, you wanted pointless school debates over climate change. If a challenge to the settled science is possible, it won’t come through rhetoric but the scientific method. Why waste time and resources making kids argue that climate change isn’t real, that babies are brought by storks or whatever
