While he was adamant there were concerns of bias before the fight, Rushton was given a chance to lodge an appeal after the media conference in the Pavilion at The Ville but declined to.
The timing of Rushton’s reveal could not have been more precise.

“You need to stay calm and you don’t want anything like this on your mind.”
