CASH IN ON A SLICE OF AUSTRALIA

- JOHN BARKER

AUSTRALIA Post is thinking big with its latest coin collection — celebrating iconic and admired symbols of Australian life — and offering our readers an Aussie trip of a lifetime.

From Akubra to Zinc sunscreen, the 26 limited coins create a sense of fun, with a touch of nostalgia, as people reflect on their connection to the quintessentially Australian themes.

Royal Australian Mint CEO Mr Leigh Gordon said the icons on the coins feature everything from favourite foods to some of Australia’s lesser known native flora and fauna and were selected by sampling the Australian public.

“There is definitely something for everyone in this coin series and we are delighted to be again working with Australia Post to create a unique and engaging way for all Australians to take a lighthearted look at our way of life,” Mr Gordon said.

For your chance to win a $15,000 Qantas Holiday voucher and other prizes, including a Victa Corvette 400 lawnmower and a year’s supply of Milo, pick up tomorrow’s Sunday Mail to find one of the required code words. The other code word appears on any Australia Post retail receipt.
