NEW TOWNSVILLE CEMETERY

The Townsville council reported in 2018 that it had just started the process of looking for a site for a new cemetery although sources have told the Bulletin they have been trying to identify a site for many years. In July, Mayor Jenny Hill said it could be years before a new cemetery was operational and more discussions were needed.
