A water park integrated into the existing toddler’s pool at Riverway was to include water jets, lighting, landscaping and seating. After pressure from federal MP Phillip Thompson, Mayor Jenny Hill revealed the council had redirected $3.6m in state funding to the repair of infrastructure damaged in the 2019 floods, which had not been insured.
