A massive crash at Silverstone, followed by a ninth-place finish in Hungary, has seen him relinquish top spot, allowing main rival Lewis Hamilton to sneak in front by just eight points. It sets up a fascinating race in Belgium, where Hamilton has stood atop the podium on four occasions, including last year’s event. Verstappen finished third that day, just ahead of Australia’s Daniel Ricciardo, but he can illafford another slip-up.
