PLAYERS GIVE TEX ALL CLE AR TO ATTEND AWARDS NIGHT

-

TAYLOR Walker will attend Adelaide’s Club Champion award on Saturday night after a decision by the Crows playing group.

Walker has been away from the club since he was found guilty for making a racial slur about North Adelaide’s Robbie Young as a spectator at a SANFL game.

Fronting the media for the first time since he was hit with the ban on Thursday Walker said he would like to attend the Crows Club Champion award – at which he will collect Adelaide’s leading goalkicker award.

But Walker said it was “for the club to decide”.

“I’ve expressed that I would like to go to the B and F on Saturday night,” he said.

“But that’s up for the club to decide.” On Friday the Crows playing group made the decision to let Walker attend the function. He had previously stayed away from a players and staff lunch earlier this week.

Prior to the playing group’s decision, Adelaide board member Mark Ricciuto said he hoped Walker would be allowed to attend the night.
