Dog attack boy stable

A TWO-YEAR-OLD boy is recovering in hospital after a dog attack at the weekend.

The toddler was flown to Townsville University Hospital in a serious condition on Saturday morning after he was mauled by a dog at a house in Wunjunga, south of Home Hill.

He suffered significant facial injuries in the attack.

A spokeswoman from Townsville Hospital and Health Service said the boy was in a stable condition on Monday.
