RHEED’S DEJA VU
AUSSIE wheelchair racer Rheed Mccracken has won another silver medal in the 100m.
The 24-year-old from Bundaberg posted a season-best time of 15.37 seconds to finish second behind his lifelong rival, Tunisia’s Walid Ktila.
It was the third time in a row that Mccracken had won the silver medal in the T34 final at a Paralympics.
“I’m very happy with that. I haven’t raced against these guys since 2019, so I’ll take that any day,” he said. “I’m proud of (my results at) the past three Paralympics.”
