JESS HAS DESIGNS ON FASHION
WHEN it comes to swimwear, Jessica Gomes is an expert at wearing it.
Now the top Aussie model, who has appeared in no fewer than eight Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issues, is putting those skills to work as a designer.
“I love fashion and I love swimwear and I love doing creative projects, so it would be really cool to see where this goes in the future,” Gomes said of collaborating with swim label bond-eye.
“I would love to do more designing, it is really fun.
“Especially at this time, I feel like for me doing these types of projects really inspires me and I feel fulfilled in being able to work with different creatives versus being in front of the camera and modelling someone else’s brand.
“It is nice to have my own input. I love being creative … it makes me happy.”
Gomes, 35, worked on the eight-piece capsule collection with the brand that was inspired by “80s street style and the freespirited Australian summer”.
Having a go at design is just another feather in the cap for Gomes, who has also appeared in a number of Hollywood films and would like to pursue more acting work.
