Deadline looms to make call

THE deadline for the independent Regional Telecommunications Review is looming with residents and communities in regional, remote and rural Australia urged to contribute.

The review, which is held every three years, enables people in communities to tell the Australian government about their experience using telecommunications.

Regional Telecommunications Review Committee chairman Luke Hartsuyker said the review would help set the regional telecommunications agenda for the coming years.

Submissions close on Thursday September 30. Details on how to make a submission can be found at www.rtirc.gov.au
