THE majority of turf nuts believe their neighbours are jealous of them, according to a recent survey.

Australian Lawn Fanatics have confessed to bizarre lifestyle choices in a tell-all survey, with 72 per cent of respondent­s saying they would cancel plans just to tend to their lawn.

A whopping 93 per cent of participan­ts said they showed people photos of their lawn on their phone.

Enthusiast­s including new dad Josh Miller are flocking to online lawn care sites to learn how to best serve their beloved turf. Bunnings garden maintenanc­e manager Sanjiv Jassal said there were exciting innovation­s making lawn care faster and easier.

“We’re seeing a growing interest in customers investing in their lawn, whether it be a big or small backyard.”
