Dogs, Cats in the mix
TOM Hawkins is facing a potential family feud if Geelong meets the Western Bulldogs in the AFL grand final.
The Geelong spearhead’s daughter is obsessed with a Marcus Bontempelli plush doll, despite her father’s efforts to sway her to being a Cats supporter.
Hawkins revealed on the Sunday Footy Show the family babysitter, a mad Dogs supporter, bought the toy.
He said youngest daughter Primrose was “50-50” between being a Cats and Bulldogs fan.
“A lady who looks after our girls has become almost a part of our family,” Hawkins said.
“She’s got them on the Doggies bandwagon and I’m slowly clawing them back but it’s taking a bit of time.”
Geelong and the Western Bulldogs punched their preliminary final tickets and are one win away from meeting in the grand final.
