Port have options galore

PORT Adelaide will have a near full complement of players to pick from for Saturday night’s preliminary final against the Western Bulldogs after a raft of Power-listed players got through the SANFL on the weekend.

While the Bulldogs are set to be without exciting young forward Cody Weightman, who was substituted out of their thrilling one-point win over Brisbane because of concussion, and maybe superstar Marcus Bontempelli – who sat out the final minutes with a knee injury – the Power go into the game with options galore.

Young key forward Mitch Georgiades (pictured), leadership group member Hamish Hartlett, tall defender Tom Clurey and Lachie Jones all got through the state league game on Saturday.

Sam Powell-pepper, who was the medical sub in the qualifying final win over Geelong and kicked two goals in 20 minutes, played the first half and performed strongly.
