THE Townsville Bulletin is a North Queensland institution.
It has a life of its own and means different things to different people.
During its 140 year history the Townsville Bulletin has had so many incredible people on its payroll. All of these people have played their part in creating the entity we affectionately refer to as ‘The Bully’.
I am truly honoured to be one of the current custodians and am enormously proud of the work this newspaper has done for our local community.
Our team of journalists plays an essential role in keeping our citizens informed and building up a socially-aware community.
Our advertising department, like all media businesses, has been through huge change. From selling advertising in a print-only product, to embracing the world of digital news media, and now also selling digital marketing services through our world-class digital agency , Newsxtend, it’s fair to say our team of Account Sales Managers are always learning and embracing change at scale.
I feel very proud this week and look forward to reading this special edition.
