The daughter of Henry VIII, Elizabeth was born at Greenwich Palace in 1533. The last of the five monarchs of the House of Tudor, Elizabeth was crowned Queen of England and Ireland in 1558. She reigned until her death in 1603. She was buried at Westminster Abbey.
