Grammar school top performer
A NORTH Queensland high school has been named one of the top performing in the state.
Independent website Better Education has given Townsville Grammar School an overall rating of 99, with the highest achievable a score of 100.
Brisbane State High School was given an overall rating of 100 and was named as being in the top 1 per cent of schools in the state.
While the majority of the best performing schools were in Brisbane, Townsville Gram
mar joined Matthew Flinders Anglican College and Sunshine Coast Grammar School as the top performers in the rest of the state.
Annandale Christian Col
lege also made the list at 93 per cent. Better Education states the overall score is an index of a performance, rather than a ranking, with schools rated from 100 to 60.
