Funds for regional businesses

SMALL business owners across Townsville will soon be able to apply for state government funding in the second round of Business Basics Grants.

Minister for Employment and Small Business Di Farmer said the second round of the grants would be open exclusively in regional Queensland.

The grants are aimed at sole traders and small businesses with a turnover of up to $300,000 and can be used for a variety of activities including training, web development and marketing.

The grants are open from 9am on September 8 and are part of the Big Plans for Small Business Strategy and the Covid-19 Economic Recovery plan. For more information go to https://bit.ly/38givor
