LNP call for more vax locations

QUEENSLAND has fallen to last place in the national vaccine rollout.

Leader of the opposition David Crisafulli made a call for more locations across the state where people could receive their Covid-19 vaccination.

Mr Crisafulli said vaccinations were the ticket to security and certainty.

He said the low vaccination rate in Indigenous communities was a concern.

“We need to mobilise clinics in these communities as a matter of urgency,” Mr Crisafulli said.

He said Queenslanders’ confidence in the vaccine was also a key to success in the rollout.

“Queenslanders need hope and a pathway out of this pandemic,” he said.

Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk called for people living in Brisbane’s north to visit the Brisbane Entertainment Centre in Boondall to get vaccinated, with 1500 doses available a day.
