Kids get into the spirit of Townsville’s Book Week

- SAM FLANAGAN

BOOK Week is growing in popularity each year in North Queensland and 2021 was no exception.

We put the call out on the Townsville Bulletin Facebook page to see some of the costumes which were put together this year and were wowed with the designs.

They ranged from a gorgeous little Snow White to an adventurous Amelia Earhart, to the comedic Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum and an industrious Wall-e.

It’s great to see the next generation taking up the love of reading and their parents encouraging the passion.

Check out some of the best photos from this year’s Book Week here and on our website.
